About Skeletons

The first painting I did with skeletons, Sunset Love, was for a Day of the Dead show in Madrid, New Mexico. From there on I took on a liking for the occasional painting with a skeleton, or several skeletons. In the continuity of life skeletons are a kind of stand in for the enigma of life, even of consciousness, and rebirth and so on. And all of that in an oftentimes humorous way.
